Children in Crisis
Besides having to cope with their disabilities, disabled children face extreme poverty, discrimination, stigma and lack access to general public services including basic healthcare, education, clean water and sanitation, and adequate housing needs.
These children are also particularly vulnerable in conflict and disaster situations, and to HIV/AIDS, violence and neglect.
There is a direct link between poverty and disabling impairments. In fact, 50% of impairments are preventable and poverty-related, with 20% of impairments caused by malnutrition. (Source, Department for International Development, Reader's Digest)

Okay cool if i'm not poor in the future, and i certainly don't intend to be, I'll definitely adopt/sponsor one of these kids. Or more, depending on how much money i have. XD
I can't possibly help all of them but if i can change someone's life. I guess it's already good enough.
What they need is a change of govt though. Okay i won't elaborate. (:
Again I seriously hope to run away from everything. Don't you ever wished what its like to die prematurely?
It's so difficult giving in all the time. Cos you don't consider how others feel. Ever. It's just you, basically. All the things people do for you you're so thank-less, I'm shocked. It come naturally to you i suppose.
Everytime i try, it's just another stabbing. And it's not even from the back. Though no one sees it. I'm a great actor. High pain threshold i have, it's really kinda hurting a lot.
I'm so tired.
My parents always told me to give and not take. Okay fair enough. But I've nothing left now. No more feelings. Like what BC said. 'I didn't believe i'd met anyone who can not feel anything even if you get hurt. It's not possible.'
"That's how it goes. Lots of different ways to live. And lots of different ways to die. But in the end that doesn't make a bit of difference.
All that remains is a desert."
(South of the border, Haruki Murakami)
Do all these kids feel the same?
Wealth does not equate happiness.
Poor lil kids.
And poor in both senses. Labels: happiness, love, luck, money
